How to choose the size
Above a sofa or sideboard, the painting should measure around two thirds of the furniture's width. On large walls, one large canvas works better than several small ones; in hallways and corners, vertical formats elongate the space.
Colours that connect
Choose works that repeat one of the room's tones —cushions, rug or wood— to integrate them, or go for contrast to make them the focal point.
Hanging and care
Hang the painting with its centre about 145-155 cm from the floor and avoid direct sunlight to preserve the colours. Dust the surface with a feather duster or dry cloth.
Pair it with
Complete the wall with designer mirrors or wall panels.
