Designer Mirrors
Decorative design mirrors in mango, teak, fir and reclaimed wood, resin and gold or aged metal. Wall, floor and dressing-room mirrors that multiply light, enlarge the space and decorate with character.
Where to place a mirror
In the hallway, above a console, for a last look before going out; in the living room, opposite a window, to multiply natural light; in the bedroom or dressing room, a full-length floor mirror; and above a sideboard, as an alternative to a painting.
Shape and size
Round and oval mirrors soften spaces with lots of straight lines; rectangular ones elongate and enlarge. Above furniture, choose a mirror slightly narrower than the piece below it.
Frames with character
Carved or aged wooden frames bring a colonial or vintage feel; resin and gold metal frames add sophistication; and natural wood frames add warmth and simplicity.
Pair it with
Complete the hallway with console tables and wall lamps.
