Where to place them

Next to a sofa or armchair they hold a cup, a book or a lamp; in the hallway, they become a drop zone for keys; and in the bedroom, a light alternative to a bedside table. Pedestals raise plants and decorative pieces to give them prominence.

The right height

To be comfortable, the top should sit at the height of the sofa arm or a few centimetres below it, usually between 45 and 60 cm.
