Benches and Bed-ends
Design benches and bed-end benches in solid wood, reclaimed wood, teak, rattan and jacquard upholstery. Pieces that add a practical seat at the foot of the bed, in the hallway or at the dining table, bringing texture and character.
Where to place them
At the foot of the bed, to lay out clothes or sit to put on shoes; in the hallway, next to a coat rack; in the dining room, as an alternative to chairs along one side of the table; or in a corridor, as a decorative piece.
Dimensions
A bed-end bench usually spans between two thirds and the full width of the bed. In the dining room, the bench should be slightly shorter than the table so it can slide underneath.
Materials
Reclaimed wood and teak bring a rustic, authentic feel; rattan adds lightness; and upholstered seats provide extra comfort.
Pair it with
Complete the space with headboards and beds, plaids and throws or dining tables.
