Comfort at the table

The seat should sit about 28-32 cm below the tabletop; with standard 75 cm tables, a seat height of 45-48 cm is ideal. For long meals, choose wraparound backs and upholstered seats.

With or without arms

Chairs with arms add comfort and presence but need more space: check that they fit under the table. Armless chairs let you seat more guests.

Mixing chairs

You can combine two models or two colours for a more personal dining room, or use different chairs at the ends of the table. Repeating one material —wood, fabric or metal— keeps it harmonious.
