Dining tables
Design dining tables in solid acacia, mango, oak and elm, and combinations with metal or iron. Rectangular, round, oval and extending models to gather family and friends around a solid piece with character.
What size table do you need
Allow about 60 cm of width per diner. A 160 cm table comfortably seats 6; one of 200 to 220 cm seats 8. Leave at least 80-90 cm of free space around it to pull out chairs and move around. Round tables of 120 cm or more encourage conversation in square dining rooms.
Shape and base
Rectangular tables make the most of long rooms; oval ones soften the corners and ease circulation. Pedestal or cross-shaped bases let you fit chairs in any position, while corner legs give a more classic look.
Woods and care
Acacia and mango have an expressive, warm grain; oak and elm convey calm and nobility. To keep them at their best, clean with a soft cloth, avoid harsh products and use trivets for hot dishes.
